Stage AI Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 27, 2026

Stage AI, also referred to as Staged AI, is operated by Exypnos Development ("Stage AI," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you use the Stage AI mobile application, related websites, project sharing pages, and support services (collectively, the "Service").

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not use the Service.

1. Contact

For privacy questions, requests, or complaints, contact us at:

Email: support@stagedai.app

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories, depending on how you use the Service.

2.1 Content You Provide

When you create or manage virtual staging projects, we may collect or process:

  • Room, property, listing, exterior, floor plan, detail, and reference photos you upload, capture, import, generate, save, or share.
  • AI prompts and generation settings, including room type, style, color palette, custom instructions, mode, tool selection, and reference image choices.
  • Generated designs and related before/after images.
  • Project and generation details, including project name, generation name, description, location, bookmarks, timestamps, and project grouping.
  • Optional extra project photos added by an agent for client review or project sharing.
  • Share-link content, including the images, title, description, location, metadata, and any other project information you choose to publish through a shareable web page.
  • Messages or attachments you send to us for support, bug reports, feedback, or legal requests.

Some project history may be stored locally on your device. If you use cloud-backed features, AI generation, support, analytics, crash reporting, or shareable links, relevant information may be transmitted off-device as described below.

2.2 Device, Usage, and Diagnostics Information

We and our service providers may collect:

  • Device type, operating system, app version, build number, language, region, and general device identifiers used by analytics or diagnostics tools.
  • App events, such as screen views, selected tools, generation attempts, permission prompts, feature usage, subscription screen interactions, and error states.
  • Crash logs, performance data, stack traces, diagnostic logs, and technical information needed to detect and fix bugs.
  • Network information such as IP address, request metadata, and approximate location inferred from IP address when you connect to online services.

2.3 Purchases and Subscription Information

If paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases are offered, we may receive information needed to unlock or manage access, such as product identifier, plan status, transaction status, renewal status, and store platform. Payment card details are processed by Apple, Google, or the applicable payment provider and are not stored by us.

2.4 Permissions

Stage AI may request permissions only when needed for app functionality:

  • Camera access, so you can capture room or property photos.
  • Photo library or media access, so you can choose images and save generated results.
  • Network access, so the app can generate images, retrieve remote configuration, load remote images, send diagnostics, and support sharing features.

You can change permissions in your device settings. Some features may not work if required permissions are denied.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Generate AI-edited images and virtual staging results from photos, prompts, and reference images.
  • Store and organize your projects, generation names, optional descriptions, locations, and project photos.
  • Create, host, display, update, and disable shareable project links when you choose to use that feature.
  • Save, export, download, watermark, or share generated images at your request.
  • Provide customer support, troubleshoot issues, and respond to feedback.
  • Analyze feature usage, reliability, onboarding completion, permission flows, generation limits, and product performance.
  • Detect, prevent, investigate, and respond to fraud, misuse, security incidents, policy violations, and legal claims.
  • Enforce our Terms of Service and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal and sensitive user data.

4. AI Processing

Stage AI uses third-party AI services, including Google's Generative Language / Gemini API, to generate or edit images. When you request a generation, your uploaded image, reference images, prompt, style selections, and related settings may be sent to the AI provider so it can process your request and return an output.

Do not upload images or instructions that you are not permitted to use, that include sensitive personal information you do not want processed, or that violate our Terms of Service.

AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or visually inconsistent. You should review generated content before using it in listings, marketing, client communications, or public materials.

5. Shareable Project Links and Client Pages

If you create a shareable project link, the linked page may display the project name, generated images, optional extra project photos, location, description, room or generation labels, and related project details you choose to include.

Shareable links may be accessible to anyone who has the URL. People you share a link with may view, download, screenshot, copy, or re-share the content. We cannot control what recipients do with information after you share it.

Do not include private addresses, client names, personal information, confidential property information, or sensitive images in a shareable project unless you have the right and permission to disclose that information.

When available, you may delete, unpublish, or request removal of shareable project content. Copies already accessed, saved, cached, indexed, screenshotted, or re-shared by others may not be recoverable.

6. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: We use vendors that help provide hosting, storage, analytics, crash reporting, remote configuration, AI generation, cloud infrastructure, support, security, and app store services.
  • AI providers: We send photos, prompts, generation settings, and related request data to AI providers when needed to generate outputs.
  • Cloud hosting and storage providers: If cloud project sharing is enabled, project metadata and images may be stored with cloud providers such as Firebase, Google Cloud, or Cloudflare R2.
  • App stores and payment providers: Apple, Google, and payment processors may process purchases, subscriptions, refunds, fraud checks, and account/store compliance.
  • User-directed sharing: We disclose information when you choose to share files, generated images, project links, or app content with another person or third-party app.
  • Legal and safety reasons: We may disclose information to comply with law, legal process, government requests, enforce our terms, prevent harm, protect rights, or investigate security issues.
  • Business transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate protections.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service may use third-party SDKs, APIs, platforms, and services, including:

  • Firebase Analytics, Remote Config, and Crashlytics for analytics, configuration, crash reporting, diagnostics, and reliability.

These providers may process information under their own terms and privacy documentation. We are responsible for making sure our App Store privacy details and Google Play Data Safety disclosures match the Service's actual data practices, including third-party SDK behavior.

8. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Service, maintain project history, support shareable links, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

Examples:

9. Deletion and Privacy Requests

You may request access, correction, deletion, export, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent where applicable by contacting support@stagedai.app.

If account creation is added to Stage AI, we will provide a way to request account deletion from within the app and through an external web resource, as required by applicable platform rules.

Deleting local app data or uninstalling the app may remove information stored only on your device, but it may not delete cloud data, shareable project links, support messages, analytics, crash logs, or backups already transmitted to us or our providers. Contact us if you need help deleting cloud-held information.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure. For example, data transmitted to online services should use modern encrypted transport such as HTTPS.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your device, account credentials if any, and shareable links you distribute.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

13. Your Regional Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and other U.S. state privacy laws, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, or similar laws. These rights may include:

If we add advertising, cross-app tracking, or marketing features that require additional disclosures or consent, we will update this Privacy Policy and platform privacy disclosures before or when required.

15. App Store and Google Play Disclosures

Our App Store privacy details and Google Play Data Safety form must reflect all data collected, used, shared, retained, and processed by Stage AI and third-party SDKs. If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and the applicable store disclosures as required.
